Hello everyone, Finally Battle Royale for Call of Duty Modern Warfare has been released.
It comes under the name Warzone and also playble standalone for free!
But at this point, you download it, and jumped right into the gamemode, complete the tutorial and you are ready to teabag some players out there.
You are so excited, but after a few times, you notice, that you are Stuck on the Loading Screen and after get kicked for inactivity, not so cool right?.
Well, my theory is, that this happens only on old pc builds, but i might be wrong, let’s go straight to the Fix!
1). Close the game, and open your Documents folder in your File Explorer
2). Open the folder “Call of Duty Modern Warfare”
3). Now open the “players” folder, be sure it’s the exact folder
4). Locate your “config.cfg” file and edit with a standard notepad or Notepad++
5). In the file search for the value => “-1836731280”, by the fault it’s set to 1 change it to “12” and you should have something like this (setcl -1836731280 “12”)
6). Change the value from 1 to “12” and you should have something like this setcl -1836731280 “12”
7). Save the file and open Call of Duty again.
Congratulations, believe it or not, you can now jump into the action and go past the loading screen. Super easy.
This is an Unofficial Fix until Activision/Infinity Ward fixes the problem.
